The new license plate portrays an endangered Wisconsin oak savanna and the plants and animals that depend on it, including the American badger, eastern meadowlark, tiger swallowtail butterfly, and prairie sunflower. When you buy a plate, your fee includes an annual $25 donation to the Endangered Resources Program that works to identify, protect and manage our rare and non-game species and the ecosystems that support them.
