TBD: Ice Fishing in Wisconsin Blog
Hey ice anglers! On behalf of the Department of Natural Resources’ Fisheries program, we’d like to welcome you to the TBD: Ice Fishing in Wisconsin Blog. Here you can find information on tips and techniques from the experts and other ice anglers. You'll also find other useful information about ice safety, how-tos, angler education, fishing forecasts, on-ice personal observations and experiences, and up-coming ice fishing clinics for kids and their parents who want to try it for the first time. TBD? Every blog has a name, right? So, what should we call this blog? The Hard Water Almanac? Reflections from the Water Top? Walking on Water? Take your pick or put on your own insulated thinking caps and give us some more ideas. We’ll get together a little judging panel and pick a winner from the responses. We hope to make this a very interactive and informal place, so kick that hole open, grab a hot seat, pull up a pail, and let’s talk some ice fishing.
